Kimberly Kosier, Administrative Assistant
Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC and LBMC Strategic Staffing, LLC
Office: Knoxville
Years of Service: 6
Holding the official title of First Impressions Coordinator, Kimberly is one of the most well known faces in the Knoxville office of LBMC. She is noted by clients, vendors and all who enter the building as always smiling and quite the prankster! She spends her days making guests feel welcome, reading the obit column for clients who may have died, setting up clients and engagements into our various systems, giving directions to our office, making reservations, lending an ear and encouraging an employee or client who may be a little down, contacting property management for clogged toilets or light bulbs that have gone out, finding the perfect clip art to announce the arrival of afternoon coffee... the list goes on and certainly each day brings new challenges and opportunities.
Kimberly says “LBMC is a family to me - I know some of my coworkers better than my own family and I love it!” She enjoys seeing how people work together to accomplish goals and even more so enjoys being a part of the team getting the job done. She enjoys the fun culture of LBMC and her coworkers know she is a large contributor to that. Perhaps one of her shining moments was her appearance as Sonny in a duet with Cher (Kathy Seagrist) at a United Way fundraising event.
In her spare time Kimberly enjoys helping others whether it be babysitting, taking a pet to the vet, visiting the hospital, cooking a meal, no act of kindness is too small or significant to Kimberly. Her greatest accomplishment in the past year was actively participating with Habitat for Humanity in the recent Women Build completing a house for a refugee family arriving in Knoxville with nothing just before Thanksgiving so they could spend their first holiday in their new home.
Kimberly is most inspired by her husband. He has non-hodgekins lymphoma and is determined to “not give in to cancer”. Those of us who know Kimberly know she and husband Jay have battled this disease as a team and continue to “drive on” no matter what the road ahead may appear to be. She most admires her father who she remembers as a man of absolute integrity.
