Mason, a Certified Public Accountant, has diversified experience with a variety of industries including 29 years of experience in state taxation, particularly sales tax and corporate income tax. His previous experience consists of over twenty-one years with the Tennessee Department of Revenue, including fifteen years in corporate income tax. He has considerable supervisory and managerial experience having spent over fifteen years in various supervisory and management positions with the Department of Revenue, including three years as the Internal Audit Director.
