In addition to teaching, he also maintained an accounting and tax practice for over 20 years. His clients included healthcare, manufacturing, and service businesses. He is also the co-author of two leading college textbooks (College Accounting and Payroll Records and Procedures) published by McGraw-Hill Publishing Company.
