Lisa Nix is the Practice Leader of LBMC’s Transaction Advisory Services practice.

Named one of Nashville Medical News 2015 “Women to Watch,” she brings over twenty years of experience in public accounting and healthcare to her role.

Lisa is responsible for the firm’s transaction advisory service delivery to address the ever-changing needs of the healthcare industry and the firm’s clients.

Lisa has over twelve years of experience leading healthcare M&A transaction services teams for both strategic and financial buyers. She has led and managed assurance and advisory services for healthcare companies, including not-for-profit, for-profit private and public entities. Her transaction experience includes leading multi-functional healthcare M&A teams serving on transactions ranging in size from several million to over $7 billion dollars.

Nix has been named a “Power Leader in Accounting” and “Women of Influence” by the Nashville Business Journal and has received the “Leadership Health Care (LHC) Volunteer of the Year” Award by Nashville Health Care Council, where she also served as an LHC Board Member. In addition, she was named one of Middle Tennessee’s “Accounting’s Finest” by the Nashville Post.

 Experience

Lisa has assisted companies with many completed or proposed transactions across sectors including acute care hospitals, surgical facilities, long-term care, home health, skilled nursing facilities, dental practice management, disease management, dialysis clinics, laboratory services, managed care, physician practices, physician and mid-level staffing services, pharmaceutical services, HMO, PPO, and psychiatric/behavioral care.

Lisa has also served various companies in bankruptcy and reorganization as well as managing services for initial public offerings, secondary equity and debt offerings, and troubled debt restructurings in healthcare.

Prior to joining LBMC, Lisa was a managing director in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s National Life Sciences & Health Care M&A Transaction Services Practice.

Community Involvement

Lisa provides tireless, unwavering support and commitment to help make her community a better place for everyone. She served as board President of the Tennessee Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America and is a board member on the Southeast Advisory board of Youth About Business and Middle Tennessee State University Accounting Advisory Board.

A native of Tennessee, Lisa resides in Murfreesboro with her husband, Steve. She spends her free time fly fishing, golfing, and paddle boarding.
