Developer H.G. Hill has submitted site plans for the first phase of a multi-use development on the southwest corner of Franklin Road and Maryland Way in Brentwood.
The first phase of Hill Center Brentwood would include a 105,671 square foot office and retail building, a 6,672 square foot restaurant as well as a separate 8,000 square foot retail building. The proposal also includes a parking garage with 860 spaces and an additional lot with 40 parking spaces.
The project, located on the former site of the Tennessee Baptist Convention Center, is proposed to eventually include a main street that runs from east to west across the property surrounded by 10 buildings totaling 600,000 square feet.
The development’s main street would connect to Chadwick Drive on the east and run north to Eastpark Drive.
Overall, the proposed layout would be similar to Green Hills Hill Center, which was built by the same developer.
Tenants have not been announced for the retail space or restaurant, but accounting and business consulting firm LBMC will serve as the anchor of the larger building and occupy about 65,000 square feet of office space.
LBMC is currently headquartered at 5250 Virginia Way, where the firm has about 300 employees.
The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in October 2016.
Brentwood Planning Commission will vote on the site plans March 2.
