LBMC’s award-winning Young Professional (YP) program address the needs of professionals in all its offices who are within their first seven years of their careers. The program helps nurture leadership skills, promotes teamwork, grows community networks, and creates a foundation for client development and lead generation. It has a formal leadership structure with terms, and all members are surveyed to verify where young professionals want support and assistance. Areas addressed this year included ways to become board members of nonprofit organizations, volunteer service opportunities, team building activities, and leadership opportunities.
