LBMC Announces 2015 Valuation/Litigation Department Promotions


NASHVILLE, TN, SEPTEMBER 22, 2015 – LBMC and the LBMC Family of Companies, one of the Southeast’s largest accounting and business consulting firms, proudly announce the promotions of three vital members of the Valuation, Litigation and Business Transition Services group: Jamie Hart, Lee Tabor, and Katie Tarr.

Lovin, Partner in Valuation and Litigation Services. “Jamie, Lee and Katie have made significant contributions leading to our ability to achieve our growth objectives.  Each brings tremendous technical abilities and consulting skills and has a real passion to serve LBMC’s clients.  Jamie has an audit and healthcare background and has excelled in both complex commercial litigation and healthcare valuation engagements.  Lee also has an audit background and has excelled in both business valuation, complex commercial litigation and fraud examination engagements.  Katie has a healthcare background and been a primary driver in growing our physician compensation valuation practice.  Her dedication and technical ability have helped LBMC to become a trusted advisor in navigating the complex regulatory environment surrounding contracts between hospitals and physicians.”

James E. Hart, CPA/ABV/CFF, is now a Senior Manager within the Valuation, Litigation and Business Transition Services group at LBMC. Jamie joined LBMC’s Nashville office in 2011. Jamie’s practice is comprised primarily of business valuation, with an emphasis on healthcare enterprise valuations, and commercial litigation. He earned his Bachelors and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi. He is currently a volunteer coach with The First Tee of Nashville. Jamie enjoys playing golf, traveling, food, and Ole Miss sports. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Beth, and daughter, Madison.

Lee Tabor, CPA/ABV/CFF, is now a Manager within the Valuation, Litigation and Business Transition Services group at LBMC. Lee joined the firm in 2012 after beginning his professional career with a national firm in 2008. Lee’s practice is comprised primarily of valuation and complex commercial litigation engagements, including fraud examinations. He earned his Bachelors and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi. He currently serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for End Slavery Tennessee and as a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. He and his wife, Jenny, reside here in Nashville. He enjoys any Ole Miss sporting events and spending time outdoors.

Katie Tarr, CHFP, is now a Manager within the Healthcare Valuation Services group at LBMC. Katie joined LBMC in 2013. Katie’s practice is focused on physician compensation valuation and she has contributed significantly to the high level of growth in this segment of our overall practice. She earned her BA in Economics from Capital University.  Katie has over seven years of experience in Healthcare and currently serves as the Chair of the Website Committee for the Tennessee chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and also sits on the board. Katie enjoys running in her free time and has completed several half marathons. She and her husband, Eric, are originally from Columbus, OH.
