LBMC and the LBMC Family of Companies, one of the Southeast’s largest accounting and business consulting firms, proudly announce the following promotions in the Valuation & Litigation Support Services Group. Both the Knoxville and Nashville (Brentwood) offices are represented.
Andy Lowe is now Senior Manager and serves as the head of the Valuation & Litigation Support Services group in LBMC’s Knoxville office. Andy is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers, a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics with the National Association of Valuators and Analysts, and Accredited in Business Appraisal Review by the National Association of Valuators and Analysts.
Andy performs valuation engagements for gift, estate, and income tax planning and reporting (valuation of closely held businesses and business interests), and intangible asset valuations including business combinations (ASC 805) and goodwill impairment testing (ASC 350). Andy also provides litigation support services for both family law (including business valuation, forensic accounting, division of marital estate, etc.) and commercial litigation (including economic damages, forensic accounting, etc.). The balance of Andy’s practice focuses on merger and acquisition and business transition services (including both buy side and sell side representation). Andy’s experience spans a broad range of industries and his clients range from business owners in small, closely held companies to C-suite executives in large public corporations.
Patrick Thomas is now a Senior Analyst in the Valuation & Litigation Support Services Group in the Nashville office. Patrick joined LBMC last year after working as an Internal Auditor with Pilot Flying J. Patrick has become an important player on our growing compensation valuation team. His previous experience includes consulting with Medical Billing Management, LLC in Chattanooga. Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and traveling.
