LBMC Ranks in Best Places to Work 2014 Listing

Nashville, TN (July 7, 2014)- LBMC and the LBMC Family of Companies (LBMC) is proud to announce it has been named to the Best Places to Work 2014 list by the Nashville Business Journal.  This year, LBMC is recognized in the business size of 101 - 499 employees.

Employees of nominated businesses were questioned with an online survey conducted by Quantum Workplace. The employee survey measured 10 key engagementLBMC Best Place To Work categories, including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders and manager effectiveness. Responses from each question of the completed surveys were compiled and calculated. Companies were ranked and honorees were chosen in each size category according to their overall composite score.

“To be selected as one of the best places to work is thrilling news for LBMC who has worked conscientiously to develop a distinctive culture,” said Jessica Utley, LBMC Director of Human Resources. “Over the last several years, the firm has developed a number of innovative initiatives, but it is the attitude, compassion and dedication that people bring with them every day that make the greatest impact on LBMC being one of the best!”

LBMC prides itself on being an innovative organization, eager to hear what employees have to say about how to improve the company, which includes being employed there.  Ideas such as business casual, seasonal flex schedules, purchased PTO, discounted gym memberships, themed quarterly parties, sports days, Young Professionals (YP Group), coaching program and women’s initiatives (and the list goes on and on) are all a result of listening to employees.   Programs such as these, as well as recognition by the Best Places to Work award itself, help LBMC recruit and retain a highly talented workforce.
