Bach & Mitchell Selected for TSCPA Committees
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 24, 2012) – Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC (LBMC) is proud to recognize Courtney Bach and April Mitchell for their involvement in the Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA) and being selected for two of the society’s committees. Bach has been selected for the TSCPA’s Professional Development Committee and Mitchell has been selected for the TSCPA’s Scholarship Awards Committee. Bach and Mitchell also serve as members of LBMC’s Young Professionals Steering Committee.
Bach is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Bach joined LBMC in 2008 and is currently a Senior in the Firm’s accounting and assurance services group.
Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Master of Accountancy and of Tennessee Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Mitchell is a Senior in the firm’s Wealth Services team at LBMC.
The Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) is the state professional organization for certified public accountants who are principally employed or reside in Tennessee. The society’s membership is comprised of more than 8,500 members in industry, government, business, education and public accounting. With more than 100 years of service to the accounting profession, TSCPA acts on behalf of its members and provides support, enabling its members to perform quality professional services while serving the public interest.
LBMC’s Young Professionals group has been established to address the career support needs of employees with less than seven years of professional accounting experience. Professional and community volunteerism is one of the development areas of the group.
