August, 2010, Nashville, TN. – Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain (LBMC), one of the Southeast’s largest business consulting and accounting firms, has added Kara Fitzgerald to its internal accounting department in the Brentwood (Nashville) office.

Kara Fitzgerald was previously an accounting manager at CIGNA Government Services, LLC. In her new role as controller, Kara brings eight years of experience managing accounting functions of various organizations. She is also experienced in developing systems of internal controls, driving process improvements, and leading accounting system implementations. She is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting.
