Lucas Gates has joined the firm as a Manager in the Security & Risk Services department where he will be specializing in information security, risk assessment and risk mitigation. Lucas brings with him vast experience in penetration testing, web development and Linux System Administration in the healthcare and retail segments. He comes to LBMC from Community Health Systems where he was the Threat and Vulnerability Management Team Lead. Originally from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, he is a graduate of the Freed-Hardeman with a Bachelor of Science in CIS. He is a member of the Information Systems Security Association and is certified in GIAC, GAWN, GWAPT, GCIH. He also was the 3rd place winner of the DerbyCon hacking challenge in 2012.
