This month's spotlight is on R. Andrew “Andy” Jordan, Kellen Gibson and Tracy Renee Hughes. LBMC is one of the Southeast’s largest accounting and business consulting firms. Along with the LBMC Investment Advisors team, Andy works to assist clients in managing, preserving and building wealth through innovative, tax efficient investment strategies. Specifically, he administers and reviews compliance with SEC regulations of Registered Investment Advisors, which includes applicable filings with the SEC. He also interacts daily with various bond brokers, analyzing and determining if their offerings fit LBMC client needs.
Andy enjoys both reading and music. Some of his favorite singers include Karen Carpenter and Don Williams, but his favorite song of all time is “Peaceful Easy Feeling” by the Eagles. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities, including cycling, kayaking, fishing, golfing and camping.

- He met Governor Ronald Reagan (before he was elected President) while he was a high school student in California.
- Sat ring-side on ABC Wide World of Sports while Muhammad Ali did Rope-A-Dope.
- Visited Lenin’s Tomb in Moscow and saw his mummified, preserved body in a glass observation case.

Kellen provides a wide range of audit services, including benefit plan audits to clients across industry lines, such as not-for-profit, healthcare, automobile dealerships and manufacturing. She enjoys the family-type atmosphere found at LBMC which carries over outside of the walls of the office. She truly believes the culture within the Knoxville office is unique in the support employees provide for each other and their all around unique and fun personalities.
Originally from Chattanooga, Kellen previously worked as an audit intern at another local accounting firm prior to completing her Master of Accountancy at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
She also earned a bachelor’s degree from the same university.
Kellen spends most of her free time working with animals. She is an active volunteer for the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley specifically fundraising and collecting items for the local shelters. Her dog, Henry, is the apple of her eye and spends the majority of his days running the show at his doggie daycare.
Anyone who knows Kellen understands and appreciates her love for all things Martha Stewart. There is not a single “Martha” craft or recipe that Kellen isn’t willing to try. She is also one of the lead volunteers for the Knoxville office’s bake sale benefiting United Way every year.
Tracy Renee Hughes, Small Business Services Manager

Years of Service: 8 months
Tracy leads the small business services team in Chattanooga providing a variety of services to clients in the areas of accounting/tax, software setup and training. Prior to joining LBMC, she spent 6 years in a similar role for a local accounting firm. Tracy finds much pleasure in helping others, which is why she loves her position at LBMC.
Tracy joined LBMC in June of 2012 and shortly before was married in Key West, Florida. She enjoys spending quality time with her family; one of their favorite things to do is to go to the movies. Tracy enjoys getting involved in women health issue fundraisers, such as Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the American Heart Association.
A graduate of Bryan College with a degree in business administration and a concentration in accounting, Tracy has completed various computer accounting classes and has 6 years of training and experience as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
