LBMC Launches Services Offering for Small Businesses
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 23, 2012) – Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC (LBMC) today announced LBMCWorks, a bundled business services program for small businesses. LBMCWorks is anchored by day-to-day accounting services – such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and financial statements – provided by LBMC staff and supported by Intacct®, a cloud-based accounting and financial management software. Clients may add other LBMC services such as tech support and payroll outsourcing to create a one-source solution to meet core business needs.
“Small business owners are faced with any number of challenges and have limited resources to address those needs,” says Mike Cain, co-founder and co-managing partner of LBMC. “By outsourcing many of the day-to-day issues, business owners can concentrate on running and growing their business.”
LBMCWorks was officially unveiled today at the Nashville Business Journal Entrepreneur Panel Series. LBMC is a co-sponsor of the series featuring panel discussions on topics of interest to entrepreneurs and principals of emerging and growth companies. LBMC is one of several companies that recently partnered with Nashville’s Entrepreneur Center to establish the Northern Middle Region Entrepreneurial Accelerator. Through the Entrepreneur Center, LBMC provides mentoring support to small business owners who will also have access to Intacct® at no cost while their businesses are in the EC Incubator.
“As an established accounting and business services firm, and more importantly as entrepreneurs ourselves, LBMC is in a unique position to offer not only what a small business needs today but we can continue to meet their needs as they grow. We can even help them with an exit strategy when that time comes,” said Cain, the recipient of the 2011 Entrepreneurial Partner NEXT Award.
