Nashville, TN (June 23, 2015) – LBMC, PC, one of the Southeast’s largest Accounting and Business Consulting firms, has added Ryan Cole to the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team.
Ryan Cole, CPA CA, has joined LBMC as a Manager. He comes with widespread experience in the audit and assurance group in a number of industries, including Technology and Manufacturing. During his rise to Manager at PwC Toronto in the last five years, he’s worked with a wide range of clients- including large multi-national public companies listed in Canada, the United States, and other international markets as well as small start-ups with minimal revenues and operations. This also included working with various accounting frameworks, most notably U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
“Ryan’s multi-national public accounting background in the Big 4 environment further strengthens our TAS team’s capabilities and expertise to deliver superior client service throughout a due diligence and deal process. His diverse background and technical expertise are welcomed additions to LBMC and the TAS practice, and we are thrilled with his decision to join our fully-dedicated TAS team of professionals,” said Lisa Nix, Partner of Transaction Advisory Services.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Ryan obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph. He is a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants. Prior to joining LBMC, he spent six months in the Hartford, Connecticut office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he gained additional exposure to U.S. companies and further expanded his knowledge of U.S. regulatory matters and U.S. GAAP.
Ryan is involved in the community, participating in fundraising events for Ride to Conquer Cancer and Movember. When not in the office, Ryan enjoys biking and hiking as well as working on renovations around the house.
