Staffing FAQ
What
types of positions does LBMC focus on?
LBMC places individuals in both permanent placement or consulting engagements.
In the Accounting/Finance area we focus on degreed positions from staff
accountant through CFO. In Human Resources, we place HR generalists
to VP/Directors of HR. With respect to Executive Administrative, we
focus on executive admins to office managers/administrators.
What
companies does LBMC target to place candidates?
No limitation is placed on our recruiters as to what
industry or company size they target. Our client base
is an active one and covers a vast array of industries.
Whether a large corporation or a start-up operation,
LBMC has extensive experience with both.
Why
should I work with LBMC as opposed to other employment
firms?
There are many reasons to work with LBMC on your job
search. Two of the most important reasons to work
with LBMC are confidentiality and professionalism.
The majority of candidates are currently employed
and do not want their employer to know they are looking
at new opportunities. Thus, they want their resume
to be confidential and secure. Without even interviewing the candidate, many recruiters will
receive a resume and distribute it to any client
without regard to the privacy of the candidate. LBMC is sensitive
to the candidate's need for confidentiality.
Before presenting a resume to a client, the respective candidate is interviewed at our office, then, when a position is available, the candidate is contacted and the company and position are discussed. This is helpful to both the client and the candidate. First of all, the candidate knows their resume is presented on a position they would seriously pursue. Secondly, the client knows the candidate has actually heard about the position and is qualified and interested. Our expectations of ourselves as your "career placement consultant" are extremely high. If we do our best for you, you will no doubt tell others. We truly appreciate referral business.
Another important reason to work with LBMC, is to make sure you are presented with as many opportunities as possible that are best suited for your career goals and current skill set. Being an affiliate of one of the largest accounting and business consulting firms in the Southeast has its advantages - for us and for you. For you, it gives you confidence that many of the positions we offer are not available through other search firms. The credibility of LBMC as a whole adds to our reputation, along with the positive results of our many successful placements.
