LBMC’s wins award for top standards in organizational health based on employee feedback fourth straight year

LBMC, one of the Southeast’s largest accounting and business consulting firms, proudly announces they have been named a 2016 Top Workplace by The Tennessean and TN Media. Not only did LBMC make the 2016 Top Workplace, but they were also named a Hall of Fame winner for consistently being named Top Workplace since the award inception.  The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by Workplace Dynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement.

The Tennessean’s Top Workplaces were selected from the results of an employee survey measuring qualities such as company leadership, communication, career opportunities, working environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by our employees for the fourth consecutive year and be among this prestigious list of organizations as a Tennessean 2016 Top Workplace,” said Jeff Drummonds, CEO of LBMC. “LBMC works diligently to develop a unique collaborative culture with a focus on coaching and training programs committed to developing future leaders in the company. We are proud to say this strategic growth model is making LBMC an employer of choice which allows us to provide our clients with top of the line resources.”

“We pride ourselves on listening to our employees and always evolving based on the feedback received, like the addition of our new maternity and paternity leave benefits and implementation of casual dress Fridays,” said Drummonds.

“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together.”

LBMC is now an employer of over 500 employees, 340 based in Nashville and to date have hired an additional 45 employees in 2016. For more information about LBMC and its Family of Companies visit
