LBMC’s growth leads to the promotion of a key leader in the Knoxville market.
LBMC, one of the Southeast’s largest accounting and business consulting firms and a top 50 firm in the nation, today announced a new leadership appointment to help accommodate vast company growth. The company, which recently surpassed 600 total employees and approximately 75 in the Knoxville market, named Andy Lowe Knoxville Market Leader for LBMC.
“If you know Andy, this role is perfect for him and LBMC,” said Greg Gilbert, Shareholder in Charge, Knoxville office. “He is a wonderful brand ambassador and is committed to representing LBMC well in everything he does.”
In his new role, Andy is responsible for growing client relationships and recruiting leaders to support LBMC’s continued growth in East Tennessee. Andy will also continue to lead the Valuation & Litigation Support Services Group in the Knoxville office, as well as lead LBMC’s involvement in the community.
“Andy will help drive our growth and LBMC presence in Knoxville by focusing on both new client relationships as well as further enhancing our services to existing clients,” said Jeff Drummonds, CEO of LBMC.
Andy, who is originally from Johnson City, Tennessee, moved back to Knoxville in 2014 after spending the early part of his career in LBMC’s Nashville office. He was recently appointed to the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2019 focusing on servant leadership. Andy is involved in several boards and committee engagements including The Muse Knoxville and Junior Achievement of East Tennessee. He was recognized as one of the Knoxville Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2018.
Andy is an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his time hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, trail running, and fishing. Andy is currently attempting to hike every trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and he and his wife Julia are in the process of section hiking the Appalachian Trail. As a former collegiate golfer, Andy also spends a portion of his free time working on his golf game. He enjoys these activities the most in the company of Julia and their three kids, Ellie, Lucy, and AJ.
