LBMC Technology Solutions is bringing the local technology community together to help non-profit organizations in Nashville and Knoxville through Coding for a Cause event.
With much interest from the local non-profit community, LBMC has selected two non-profits to support at their event. This weekend-long event will be centered around using coding to solve a technical issue that the non-profit organizations are experiencing. At the close of the event, the non-profit representatives will help assess the projects completed and select the solution that best fits the needs of their organization. The winning coding teams will be honored for their contribution to the community and will be named the winners of the Coding for a Cause event. Following the event, the winning solutions will be given to the non-profit organizations to use in their daily operation.
Stacy Schuettler, President of LBMC Technology Solutions, comments, “We are so thankful that we have the opportunity to give back to the community through this event. These non-profit organizations are a foundation of support for so many people in Tennessee. It’s truly an honor to be able to help them advance their organizations in ways they were unable to before. When you bring the community together for the greater good, it really solidifies that we have some remarkable people in our own backyard. We absolutely love that we can be a part of that.”
LBMC is asking members of the local technology community that are interested in participating in this event to register their coding teams. Teams for this hackathon-style event can be as small as one person or as large as 4 people. Coding Team sign-ups will end at 5 pm the Thursday prior to the event.
