LBMC's Wade Nelson Named Nashville Top 30 Under 30

LBMC proudly announces that Wade Nelson been named to Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 list. The prestigious list recognizes young professionals in Middle Tennessee who show exemplary leadership, exceptional professional achievement and a proven commitment to the community. Honorees will be recognized at a ceremony hosted by The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Middle Tennessee Chapter on Feb. 2 at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown.

Nelson joined LBMC in 2016 as a Data Scientist for the firm’s Marketing Department before transitioning to his current role as an Analyst for the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services team, assisting corporate and private equity clients in financial, tax, information technology, and human resources due diligence on both the buy- and sell-side of M&A transactions.

Prior to joining LBMC, Nelson served as a Financial Analyst for Comdata. He holds his master’s degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University. His econometric thesis was published by the National Publication of Economic Archives.

Nelson serves on the Board of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee Green Hills Center, where he co-chairs the YMCA Breakfast of Champions Committee and the YMCA Philanthropy Committee and assists with shaping after school care programs. He is a member of the Phoenix Club of Nashville, for which he is currently helping design a community project for underserved children of Middle Tennessee. Through volunteering with Metro Nashville Public Schools, he works on tackling gaps in literacy and education level. He serves on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Tournament of Roses committee and is a graduate of Leadership Nashville.
