This CPA has over 25 years of experience. He started his career in public accounting and spent many years operating his own consulting business providing bookkeeping, taxes, and accounting advisory services to both for profit and nonprofit organizations. Our candidate was most recently the Accounting Manager/Controller for a company in Nashville with multiple entities; he is doing much of the transactional process work in accounts receivable, accounts payable and month-end close in addition to normal Controller duties. Our candidate has strong Excel skills (Lookups, Index Match, etc.) and has been involved in a general ledger software conversion to Oracle NetSuite. His references describe him as well-rounded, personable, and dedicated in addition to having the ability to get the job done. He is seeking long-term contract opportunities as well as temp-to-perm opportunities.

Our candidate is currently wrapping up her undergraduate degree in Accounting at Cumberland University, graduating in mid-December. She completed an internship at a homebuilder where she assisted with bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in Sage 100 in addition to inventory accounting. She has basic Excel skills. Her supervisor noted that she picks up new tasks quickly and she is both dependable and willing to learn. Her college accounting professor noted that she is a good student and hard worker with a positive attitude. She is seeking a temp, temp-to-perm, or direct hire role that is hybrid or mostly remote.
Accounts Payable Specialist-AM 03
This accounts payable specialist relocated to the Nashville area in 2021. This professional is an experienced Accounts Payable professional with experience in a variety of industries, and she has also done other accounting duties in previous roles such as payroll, job costing and inventory adjustments, petty cash reconciliations, etc. Our candidate’s previous supervisor said she was diligent, always double-checked her work, and asked questions if something was not clear. She also has strong Excel skills and easily adapts to most systems and processes high volumes of data accurately (500 to 700 invoices per month at her previous roles). She is ideally seeking a temp-to-perm accounts payable role but is open to temp options as well.
