Jim Hare is a seasonal Senior Manager in the tax division of LBMC, PC.
Previously, he was a 40-year employee with the Internal Revenue Service. His experience includes extensive work in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, gaming and banking.
Prior to his retirement in December, 2011, he served as a Team Manager with the Large Business and International Division for the past 11 years. Jim supervised a team of agents that examined large multi-national corporations.
Jim served as a General Program Manager in the Examination Division for 14 years and as an Internal Auditor and Internal Revenue Agent for 12 years.
His experience also includes three years as the District Disclosure Officer. The work in this area included coordination of Tax Information Disclosure with the Tennessee Department of Revenue.
