Charles W. (Chuck) Tomlin, CPA, is a Shareholder in LBMC’s Tax practice and Partner in LBMC India Professional Services, LLP, serving as Leader of the Chennai, India office.
With more than 35 years of tax experience, Chuck works with a diverse portfolio of clients, many of whom he has served for 15 years or more. He supports privately held businesses and private clients with strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, delivering practical guidance that aligns with long-term business and personal financial goals.
Chuck’s industry focus includes construction and real estate, manufacturing, and service industries. He also advises clients with international operations as well as U.S.-based companies owned by foreign parent companies.
In addition to day-to-day tax leadership, Chuck provides M&A tax support for both buyers and sellers, guiding transaction structuring, due diligence, and post-transaction considerations. He also represents clients before the IRS and state tax authorities.
