Lisa brings more than 30 years of public accounting and healthcare experience to her role as Leader of LBMC’s Transaction Advisory Services Practice. She has spent over 20 years leading M&A transaction services teams for both strategic and financial buyers, serving on transactions ranging from several million dollars to more than $7 billion for private equity firms and their portfolio companies, public and private companies, and not-for-profit organizations.
She has advised on completed and proposed transactions across numerous healthcare sectors, including acute care hospitals, surgical facilities, long-term care, home health, skilled nursing, hospice, managed care, physician practices, physician and mid-level staffing, pharmaceutical services, HMOs, PPOs, and behavioral healthcare.
Lisa has also advised healthcare organizations on bankruptcy and reorganization matters, as well as initial public offerings, secondary equity and debt offerings, and troubled debt restructurings. Before joining LBMC in 2014, she was a managing director in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s National Life Sciences & Health Care M&A Transaction Services Practice, where she had served since 2005.
A published author and frequent speaker, Lisa serves on the Qsource board of directors, where she holds leadership roles on the finance, strategy, and executive committees. She also serves on the MTSU Accounting Advisory Board and currently chairs the board. In addition, she previously served on the board of directors of the Nashville Health Care Council, as Chair and Treasurer of the Tennessee Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America, and on leadership committees for several American Heart Association of Middle Tennessee campaigns, including as Co-Chair of Go Red for Women.
Lisa has been recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as a “Power Leader in Accounting” and a “Woman of Influence” and received the Nashville Health Care Council’s Leadership Health Care (LHC) Volunteer of the Year Award, where she also served as an LHC board member. She was also named one of Middle Tennessee’s “Accounting’s Finest” by the Nashville Post and a “Woman to Watch” by the Nashville Medical News.
Lisa graduated magna cum laude from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
