Abigail Campbell is a Managing Director at LBMC and leads the firm’s Nonprofit Tax Practice. With more than 12 years of experience serving tax-exempt organizations, Abigail advises nonprofit clients on complex federal and state tax matters, compliance requirements, and strategic planning to support long-term sustainability and mission alignment.
Abigail works closely with nonprofit leadership teams and boards to navigate evolving regulatory environments, ensure accurate and timely filings, and optimize tax positions while maintaining compliance with IRS and state regulations. Her experience spans a wide range of nonprofit organizations, including hospitals, community-focused organizations, arts organizations, schools, private foundations, and other charitable entities.
Abigail holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and is a Certified Public Accountant.
She is actively involved in the community and currently serves as a Board Member for St. Luke’s Community House.
